As a division of the Christensen group, UHCO provides services to large mining operations, mainly in Chile’s II Region. It specializes in Hard Chroming of hydraulic components and parts.

Our mission is to become our customers’ greatest ally in the task of optimizing operations, for which purpose we have a 9.000 m2 facility in Antofagasta’s industrial area, where we repair and fabricate cylinders for earth-moving equipment, trucks and loaders. We are also specialists in repairing front wheels hub and spindle assembly for Caterpillar, Dresser and Liebherr trucks.

Another service we provide is the repair of service brakes and parking brakes on Dresser 630 and 830E trucks, Caterpillar 789 y 793 trucks, brake disks for P&H and Bucyrus Erie electric / hydraulic shovels, ventilator hubs for the cooling systems of diesel motors (Dresser and Caterpillar), and seats on trucks and earth moving equipment.

Qualified personnel and the right facilities and equipment have kept the UHCO Division serving the area’s large-scale mining operations for 14 years, always striving to provide personalized attention and guaranteeing all our work. Our main clients are: Minera Escondida, Codelco Norte, S.Q.M. Nitratos S.A., Geotec Boyles Bros S.A., Cía. Minera Lomas Bayas, Liebherr, Candelaria, El Abra, among others.

In addition, the excellence of our services is backed up by our certification under Norm ISO 9001:2000, which was obtained in January 2004 through Germanischer Lloyd Certification.
